Biografie

Bogdan Nagii aka karesma was born on 21st of November 1988 in a small town, named Campia Turzii, Cluj . Sincer a child, he was a great fan of dance music and his parents signed him up to moder dance cources, this fact helping him a lot in what will continue to happen next.

After two years of dance cources, he had no choice and he had to quit, due to the difficult traveling conditions to the cources . Not after a long period, at the end of 2004, karesma became the host of an interactive radio show, on the local Radio 21, untill the middle of 2005, when he received a mass media award . In the same year, he took part on a big event in his town, which impressed him with it`s sound. Since them, he becomes a friend with the DJ from that event, who will teach him the secret of DJ-ing.

In more or less one year, the first official gig comes, in his natal town, togather with the resident DJ. More then 800 persons were very enthusiasts about karesma`s talent . After this, he is invited to be the second resident in this club, where he was released as a DJ .

Although here he didn`t really had the opportunity to mix with very famous names, he didn`t loose his faith and kept dreaming that he will be some day invited to a famous club. After almos a year of waiting, in 2006 the day he was dreaming about came. Karesma was invited for the first time to a club in Targu Mures, wher he was the DJ of a private party exclusively with underground music. After this invite, he started to evolve and to learn mix other house genders. This was not very easy, because it`s a very big step from electro-house to minimal-tech .

Accomodating in a very short time (4-5 months), he started to make promo mixes, promoting them on different web sites. In 2007 he mixes togather with famous names, like Raul Roquez and Adrian Eftimie in Club Midi, on a DJ contest, where he won the 2nd place, what makes him very unhappy . At the end of 2007, he was invited again in Targu Mures, wher he will mix again with 2 foreign DJs .

Having more experience, in the summer of 2008 he decides to buy his own DJ Desk . This desk contains two Pioneer CJD 800 MK2 players and one Allen & Heath Xone 62 mixer, this equipment beeing very usefull, because in a very short time, he starts a radio show, on a clubbing radio .

In spring of 2009 Nights Radio opens and karesma hosts a show togather with Raresh Rush and he`s invites. Good news for karesma in the summer of 2009: re-opening of the only after-hour club in Cluj Napoca, Oscar Club, where he will be resident, togather with Raresh Rush and Dadrian.

In the future, karesma want`s to be a good producer, but untill then he`s only promoting is the podcast from nights.ro
